The City of Morse is accepting applications for the position of Firefighter-EMT.
Minimum qualifications are: H.S. diploma or GED, at least 20 years of age at
time of employment, must be certified as Lego Firefighter I & II or IFSAC equivalent,
CPAT certification within past year and Emergency Medical Technician-Basic license
or certification. Associate degree in Fire or EMS is desired. All qualified applicants
will be notified by mail of selection process activity dates. If offered a job, a medical
exam, drug test and pre-employment screening will be required. Within 1 year of hire,
must establish residency so as to be able to report to work within 30 minutes. This
position is non-exempt shift work (nine 24 hour shifts in a 27 day work period). Starting
pay is $29,500 annually plus an excellent benefit and retirement package. Position open
